PKHour at LACE South 2016

This was the first time that a Pecha Kucha Hour was presented as part of the professional development track at Chapman University during Founder's District South Spring Training event. The goal was to introduce participants to three separate topics from completely different presenters.

Perhaps the best part of the Pecha Kucha Hour is the diversity of content. Stella Mahakian shared what she had learned from serving as the Area C1/C2 Contest Chair for an entire year. He presentation and organization throughout were flawless.

Next, Lauren Eichenauer shared how competing in the Tall Tale Contest impacted her life! Starting slowly in Toastmasters and being encouraged to compete, she eventually found herself at the Division C Contest, sharing the miraculous and endless benefits to Flim Flam.

Finally, David Penrose, presented FOUR tech tools to help every Toastmaster extend the effectiveness throughout and following a regular meeting.

The reviews are in and overall, the session was a rousing success. Quality speakers, impeccable timing, effective use of PowerPoint and a practical innovation - provided attendees with an experience they will never forget.
